When most people think of Nashville, TN the first thing that comes to mind is Country Music. You know, your Elvis – Dolly- Ray Cyruses lol. However I know for a fact that the “Music City” has much more to offer. Being a resident there for about 10 years, I came across some of the most soulful kats in the scene. What the Nashville underground soul scene may not be in quantity it definitely is high ranking in quality.
Let me introduce you to RICHBROWN, consisting of William “Crisis” Holt and Kwesi B, they are a production due specializing in deep soul, house, broken beat and hip hop. Also William “Crisis” Holt’s name may look familiar because he is the dope producer (and mentor, yet he may not know it lol) that I worked with on my “Chameleon EP“. Didn’t know the South had so much Euro Soul huh? lol.
